		<description>Well it looks like you did the right thing by dropping grip training in your case.  I understand how it gets sometimes when you &quot;know&quot; you should add something to your general workout - like foam rolling, stretching, etc. - but the more extras that go in the more the workout is watered down.  

In all seriousness, you are one of about three women I&#039;ve ever heard say that they are working on glute hypertrophy.  Most women seem to be afraid of getting big - as if it&#039;s easy to pile on muscle mass.  And most guys are the exact opposite.  Expecting to get big and then failing to make much progress beyond the beginner&#039;s initial gains.</description>

		<description>I must confess that I stopped including grip work into my training about 4 months ago.  I had been building in gripper work in between exercises but found that it only worked round certain exercises (doing it just before pull ups was, for example, foolish since it left me with limited grip strength left for the pull ups themselves).  Then I moved it to the end of my workouts before adding in some glute work at the end of each workout.  Keeping in the gripper work was making my workouts unsustainably long for the number of hours I had available to me round work and everything else that I do.  

Poor excuse I know, but I didn&#039;t feel like grip was the restricting factor on any of my exercises any more either.

I&#039;m working on some serious glute hypertrophy things at the moment.  However, if the glutes start to get to a more acceptable size and/or I start to feel that grip is becoming the weak link in the chain again then I will certainly be putting gripper work back in.</description>
