Powerlifting progress 2010: week twenty-five (walking in the Alps)

June 28th, 2010 · 3 Comments · Training

Following on from yesterday there was, obviously, no powerlifting work to be done last week.  Instead I was cheerfully tramping through the Alpine scenery enjoying the variety of Alpine meadows with their numerous different coloured flowers, high mountain scenery, and the tough hours of steep uphill walking (and careful knee-killing downhilling).

Since there were just too many great photos (well over 300 from 6 days of walking), here are a few more to follow on from yesterday’s collection.

Much of my week was spent in this way

...though there was plenty of time for relaxation and thinking too (with inspirational scenery).

We had our fair share of snow, considering it was late June

Snow can be easily handled it you have the knowhow

All that glute work really paid off when it came to the vertical ladders and steps of the Via Ferrata section
